Door-to-door auto transport is when the truck driver will pick the vehicle up and drop off your vehicle as close to your home as possible. Many cities have restrictions on large trucks that prohibit them from driving into some residential areas. So, if access to your home is restricted by narrow streets, low-hanging trees, speed bumps or tight turns — the driver may ask that you meet the truck at a large parking lot nearby such as a grocery store

You don’t personally need to be at the pickup location, but it is highly recommended that you have a representative at both the pickup and delivery points (if you cannot be there personally). The representative must be at least 18 years of age.

Quickcar’s door-to-door shipping services include pickup from a specific address (driveway, work address, etc.) and dropoff at a specific address—as close as the trucker can safely and legally get to the requested addresses.
 
Note that some cities or communities have commercial vehicle restrictions that prevent car carriers from traveling on their streets and certain areas may be unsafe for truckers to navigate. If the trucker can not safely or legally drive to your requested address, they will meet you at a nearby agreed-upon location.

Yes, door-to-door shipping is available for most types of vehicles throughout the United States. Door-to-door service is not available for Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico and international shipments.

When you choose any of Quickcar’s door-to-door transport services, your vehicle will be covered by the carrier’s cargo insurance. Additionally, Quickcar has its own contingent cargo insurance which protects your vehicle.
